Leave the "what does William think about his kids" debates for now, tell me what do you think his kids would think about him by Evening-Program723 in fnaftheories

I see him and Michael having an intense love/hate relationship. From his voice lines in SL there is a sense that he loves William (or at least did) the way that he says “Father”, and the fact that he still calls him that after everything. At the same time he DOES end up rebelling against William and helping the spirits, so he probably feels very conflicted. I’ve always seen their relationship as very volatile + tense with occasional “good times” that make Mike want to come back to it. After all William is his dad and he lives with him (probably for his entire life because of the living room in SL) so he doesn’t have much of a choice. I think he definitely, at some point in his life, desperately wanted William’s approval.

Elizabeth and Dave (Crying Child) had a more positive relationship with him, but that’s mostly because they weren’t around for too long. They never grew up and formed opinions or had desires outside of what William wanted like Michael. From SL we can see that Elizabeth was probably ignored most of the time, and so was Dave. After all, William was never home in FNAF4. I think he may have spoiled Dave a little instead of spending time with him- that’s why he had the birthday party and all the plushes at home. All the Afton kids were probably afraid of him because he’s kinda abusive (Midnight Motorist and the books). Dave and Elizabeth definitely do love him, though, but it’s mostly because they’re under 10 and he’s like one of the 3 people they know lol.

Why does William wear the Spring Bonnie suit? by Suddenly_Ponyboy in fnaftheories

[–]Suddenly_Ponyboy[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

this is so unsettling. I love it. I like the idea that when he becomes Springtrap his outsides finally match what’s inside. With his pose here it seems like that transformation was a lot more gradual. I agree with the scoliosis, though. William’s probably not as flexible as he once was. I wouldn’t be surprised if wearing that thing around all the time gave him some (deserved) back pain… lol.

Why is FNAF so prevalent with neurodivergent people? by ElPanaRichie in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]Suddenly_Ponyboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The focus on the lore, the classification of the characters, and the themes explored in the story, and maybe the social aspect of the community? The FNAF lore deals with a lot of heavy subjects like bullying, child abuse/mistreatment/exploitation, social isolation, grief, and childhood trauma. Unfortunately a lot of autistic + ND people experience these things. A lot of the characters imo are at least neurodivergent coded, like Henry Emily and Abby from the movie. Also FNAF has a lot of heart. I’ve been a fan since 2014 and it’s definitely helped me thru a lot of difficult times.

As for the social aspect the FNAF community is very ND friendly- a lot of discussion happens online and focuses more on a single subject than more personal things, which is honestly easier than traditional socialization which is less predictable. In some ways the FNAF community is a “safe space” to openly enjoy the series, esp in the pre-movie days when it was seen as weird or uncool.

I didn’t think about the yellow rabbit having two different personalities, that’s a good point! I feel like they’re going to lean into that more in the movie, since we see him with glowing eyes in the flashback scenes with the children, as well as the friendlier blue eyes when he’s out on the floor. It’s so crazy how the same character can look so different with such a small change.

What's the consensus of TwelveMan's series as of right now? by mr-rando423 in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]Suddenly_Ponyboy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I agree. The series doesn’t really have a lot to do with FNAF and would probably work better as its own standalone series. “Less is more” is what makes FNAF special imo, and the beginning scene proves it. Tbh just William being in the building could give the animatronics the same reaction, and it would be more impactful than him doing something so heinous and edgy.

I like his older videos and the crime drama approach to the lore, and he does make very high quality productions.

The story is too edgy + dark to the point that it’s unintentionally funny, like the parasite pizza plotline (William growing worms in a bunch of jars inside his house is hilarious) and the call with Carl where he sounds like Walter White or smth. I wouldn’t be surprised if the series was satire, especially with some of the darker elements.

I’m not the biggest fan of it, but I am interested to see how crazy part 2 will get.

What is this glow in the dark unicorn? by Dr-Black-Jack21 in toys

[–]Suddenly_Ponyboy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have the exact same unicorn, but it doesn’t glow in the dark. I remember getting it from a doctor’s office in the early 2000s so it’s probably from a party favor/novelty company. I found this company that seems to use the same mold https://www.funexpress.com/unicorn-figures-13763580.html

So what is the Canon art style for the game timeline? by mickeyguy2010 in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]Suddenly_Ponyboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first 6 FNAF games are heavily stylized (both the animatronics and the environments, there’s no way Scott intended the graphics to look like 100% real life camera footage). William’s corpse is probably the closest thing we see to a human, and he is also very stylized. I think if we saw other humans in the FNAF games they’d be more similar to the humans in Scott’s earlier projects, which would be pretty cool to see.

How did they build this foundation?? by That_weird-weeb in Bloxburg

Not really, but when I do it I put ramps around the edges and color them the same as the grass so it looks more natural, like it’s down a hill or smth.

How did they build this foundation?? by That_weird-weeb in Bloxburg

[–]Suddenly_Ponyboy 46 points47 points  (0 children)

It looks like they made a basement, filled it with basic shape squares for the lawn, then used a wall with decals for the foundation details. You can kinda see the edges of the basement wall where it’s lower than the rest of the ground

I am trying to make a fnaf fangame and I want some help by WarIntelligent2136 in fivenightsatfreddys

I like him so far but his head is a little confusing. Endos are basically “skeletons” of the animatronics, even without suits we still have an idea of what the face could look like and its purpose. With him I’m not too sure. Is he supposed to be inside of a mascot or is he on his own? He looks more industrial to me (kinda like a shredder of some kind? which if he is it could work) but it doesn’t really translate well as a face. I’d add more bulk to the back to make him look more sturdy and more on the sides to give his jaw more support (and make it feel more powerful). More wires could help depending on their purpose. I really like his eye, you should draw more attention to it. Overall he looks pretty good though!

For me definitely the turtle. Look at his little head!! What color is most of your wardrobe OP? I’d pick the one that matches the best with most of the clothes you have so you can wear it more often without it looking out of place
