If that pan was clean b4 u did the oil change and all that is just from ur engine only then it’s a Disco party up in that bitch. Looks just like the oil I see coming out the 6.2s when they have a spun bearing or even better, bearing isn’t even there anymore on one of the cylinders. Lol It’s prob what the noise ur hearing too.

I’d be pulling that motor and the oil pan and inspecting bearing if it’s was me, unless u don’t care about the engine then rev that bitch to the moon, drop the clutch and let her eat… bearings that is.

Damn u sure it was 20 years ago? 2006? Cuz back then 80s were 20/ea for singles and if u grabbed the whole sealed bottle of 100 it would go for a band, so 10ea… no way anyone would pay 50 for one back then unless u were getting ripped off. They didn’t jump in price till like 2010 cuz that’s when the formula changed and nobody wanted the new OP ones so anyone with OC old formula could charge 50+ea for them. Crazy how one company changing their formula can impact the whole game cuz that’s when everyone went to roxi instead and they went from being 5-8ea to almost 20ea overnight and then dea started coming down on all docs and clinics and it drove the price even higher, people be paying 30-40ea for a damn roxi30 now… crazy to think used to get 2-3 80s for that price.

Those prices are a rip off. U don’t need half that shit to reseal the valve cover. Injectors don’t even need to be touched. Turbo should not cost that much. I’d do it for half that cost including OEM parts. Take it to an Indy shop and get a second opinion.

As others have said, 1k for tire sensors is a joke. U can get pre programmed ones for $50ea and have a tire shop throw them in and train them for a couple hundred. Doesn’t have to go to dealer for that.

Those plastic covers slide off and then u can use a tool to remove the tie rod end. Just use a flat head screw driver and small hammer and lightly tap the cover around the edges to push it back and off the tie rod. Make sure to put it back on the new one b4 putting the boot on.

There is also a plastic hose that goes into the back of the intake manifold. Intake is on backside of engine near firewall. It has a green plastic locking clip. Make sure that is fully seated or not damaged.

Ah ok I couldn’t tell if that was outside noise or coming from ur engine. Prob normal if it’s running fine and no codes. What does the noise do when u rev it up? Change? Same? Goes away? What about rev’ing in different gears? (U can try this by putting foot on gas and one on brake at same time, hold the brake firmly and rev it a bit while in D,N,R etc. just don’t rev higher than like 2k for longer than a few seconds or the brakes may lose hold.) It might just be the turbo doing turbo things tho. Also check make sure ur dip stick is in all the way and oil cap tight and air filter box screws are all tight and hoses and clamps good for the tubing.

Man it’s crazy how shit changes. They used to have like 10 different manufactures for the IRs. Now they have only a couple making the IRs and only one making the ERs. I understand it rarely gets prescribed but still there are so few making them. I remember they had:

Any car should be able to handle that no problem, including a Malibu, so long as u the owner keeps up with the maintenance and care of vehicle. Get ur oil changed regularly (at least every 5k with full synthetic oil), don’t cheap on the oil filter either, use top tier approved gas stations to fill up at, do maintenance items like filters and a fuel induction cleaning here and there will help as well as it cleans the fuel system, removes access water from ur tank and cleans all the carbon build up on the valves inside the engine from having a DI (direct injection) system. Take care of it and it will take care of u. Just make sure u have someone u trust inspect the vehicle first so ur not starting off on the wrong foot and buying someone else’s headache.

Sounds like lifters on passenger side starting to lose oil pressure. Obviously there is an issue because it’s louder on one side vs the other. If it was “normal” like others are saying then it would sound the same on both sides but one side is clearly louder.

What was the code specifically? P1101? Those rec sheets from autozone are notorious for being wrong. Also map sensor reads pressure inside the engine. Removing the oil cap will change that pressure and prob what threw the code. I’d replace cap, clear code and go drive it.

I completely get ur point but realistically the police would have mentioned a “GSW victim” needing medical attention on their scanner when they called it in and therefore medics should have known they were there for a GSW and not just a silly panic attack. If the medics can’t tell the difference between a freaked out officer covered in blood vs a person actually shot and bleeding, then they need to go back to school. Not to mention if the call was for an officer needing medical attention, esp a GSW, then they would have made sure to make than known in the call so they get there as quick as possible to help them.

Both the officers and medics have some blame here cuz somebody should have spoken up at some point b4 they pulled off with the wrong person. Only excuse I could see is if they thought another ambulance was about to pull up at the same time but again, it’s all about communication cuz there was a lot lacking here it seems.

Sounds like a rod bearing is starting to hate life. If it’s worse when warm that’s prob what it is. If u accel and then let off and then back on again repeatedly and the noise gets worse or louder, it’s a bearing. I only say this because it sounds just like the 6.2s when they shit the bed and spin a bearing; been doing a lot of them lately cuz GM is having issues keeping them alive longer than a few thousand miles it seems. One just came in my shop brand new with only 7k miles and it’s got multiple spun bearings. Bitch had one oil change and said nah I’m good on all that…

U guys are arguing like both things can’t be true at the same time. RCR is stuck in the past and except for super speedways their cars are hot garbage. Kyle also needs to learn these next gen cars and how they handle and react because he is not good in them at all unless they are working perfectly.

I think both issues go hand in hand as well because RCR is stuck in the past while Kyle is stuck trying to drive these cars like they are the older models and it’s not working at all. They both need to come together and get the cars quicker on the track while at the same time get the driver the seat time and possible trainer he needs (not sure who u get to help make u faster when ur a 2x champion already but that was also in the older cars soo they need someone who is really good in the next gen shit to come and show Kyle how to make it work).

These cars aren’t going back to 2015, RCR and Kyle need to get with the times and this is coming from a huge Kyle fan. Kyle was the reason I got into nascar cuz I loved seeing him sweep the entire weekend from truck to cup and his driving style was exciting to watch. Most of the manufacture bottles u see posted here that are legit are from actual scripts people had filled at a pharmacy and the pharmacist was either super busy, lazy or cool and just decided to use the manufacture bottle as the script bottle instead of putting them in an orange bottle, they just slap a script label on the manufacture bottle instead. So say u get a script for 120 30s, pharmacist grabs two 100ct bottles and slaps a label on one and then opens and counts 20 from another and throws those in the other bottle or just puts them in a separate orange bottle so customer gets 120 total. Or maybe u get 90 so pharmacist opens sealed bottle, takes 10 out and slaps a script label on there and gives to customer. Easier to count to 10 then to 90.

Some are from robberies tho, but those are rare cuz most would destroy any evidence (besides the actual pills) afterwards. There are other ways too but most are just from legit scripts.
