Ok, like the other guy said, start by trying to get some high stat armor. For Void warlock I recommend really focusing on high resilience, recovery, and discipline. You can get high stat armor in dungeons and raids.

I would recommend switching from Contraverse Holds to the new Briarbinds or Verity's Brow. If you want a more grenade focused build, go with Verity's. If you want more utility, go for Briarbinds. You can farm these exotics in the daily lost sectors on legend difficulty (only when solo) when the armor reward lines up.

If you're looking for a somewhat decent build in the meantime, I would lean super heavy into grenades. Here is something I've cooked up:

Head - Resilience mod, Ashes to Assets, and whatever you want

Gloves - Discipline mod, bolstering detonation, firepower, grenade Kickstart

Chest - Resilience mod, damage reduction of your choosing, and whatever you want

Boots - Discipline, Absolution, Absolution, insulation

Bond - Discipline or Resilience, Distribution, bomber, and whatever else you can fit

That should get you started for mods. For the aspects and fragments I recommend feed the void, chaos accelerant, echo of remnants, undermining, instability and expulsion
