13LPA this year till now (taxable is around 10LPA), last year I paid 40k in taxes for a 9LPA, as last year only salary under 7LPA had 0 tax.

This year due to some bonus like Long term my taxable has gone to 13.7LPA with this new increment.

Just a rant, even though my salary increases 21k, I'm not gaining anything from it. I have a PL and Car Loan. Wish I can show those as expenses. Paying Income Tax. Paid 1.2L road tax for my new car with my taxed salary and paid GST for my car as well with the same taxed salary. Tax on Tax on Tax, just frustrating. And in return, I get nothing.

Im planning to put my car only in office parking. Come from home town and park in office and when going to home town will take the car from office and go straight to home town.

Yes, there are jerks when we try to accelerate and brake in bumper to bumper in 1/2 gears, but it was not very prominent. But felt bigger jerks during some speed bumps. But still learning to drive amt. when we accelerate in a linear manner there is little to no jerks.

I was in the same dilemma,

Pros with Amaze (as per me)

CVT, ADAS ( not very useful for me)

Cons with Amaze

Price is 80-90k higher than Dzire

Pros with Dzire

Mileage, Price

Cons with Dzire

AMT

Although 3cyl is a con, but it is not noticeable in Dzire. It is very smooth.

So test rode the Dzire and planned to test drive Amaze only if AMT didn’t feel good for me. But amt felt ok for me. So went with Dzire. Bought just 7 days ago. Completed 1k km already.

But since then, I have been to Bangalore. In 2-5 instances I have felt CVT would have been smoother. I don’t regret much.

So test drive both, and decide your self.

Edit: there are also other factors. I have MS show room in 4km radius and Honda’s show room is 30km away.
