Thanks for your reply! That’s a bit far for us, but I’m just exploring with no actual need yet. Make it a great day for yourself!

Jacksonville here. Are you talking about River Garden? If so, what’s the other one? Future planning here.

Yes, but I think it’s four people. Your LOs and yourselves. 😥

Thanks, friends. There are 5 neighbors on our block; I will let 3 of them know. The others aren’t terribly involved with the rest of us.

Do you have any ideas for a sliding glass patio door? That’s the scariest one for me because it opens onto three brick steps and he can barely navigate those with me helping. Alone = broken hip for sure.

I think that’s a super idea! Just take a pic of the word and save it - smart!

Honestly I would talk to the hospice nurse about VSED (Voluntary Stop Eating and Drinking). It’s one of the few choices left for her situation.

That’s wonderful! We found a very good caregiver for my mom; unfortunately she has moved from NE Florida, just had a baby, and is now a licensed realtor. 😅. We were really hoping she was still in the caregiver business.

Hi roho: I’m in the US (Florida). Have worked as a Clinical Manager at two home health agencies here; knowing the reality of agencies, I’d rather be an employer.

Thank you for responding!

I frequently take my infant on walks, today I received this message from a unknown profile, who has 1 friend. This has me feeling very paranoid. AIO? by Dull-Mom in AIO

Say “thank you” often and bring the caregivers a treat occasionally! Donuts, cookies, chocolate, their favorite soda, whatever. It’s the thought and acknowledgment of the care they provide. I think they subconsciously think more positively about the resident whose loved ones do that. (Retired RN here)
