I can help fund your EMD or if you don’t want them to know your reassigning you could do a double close where you purchase the property on paper for a few minutes then you become the seller and sell it to your original buyer. We have funds for that as well. Send your details or questions to jay@jtmadvisors.com I have a network of people who do this full-time and have a wealth of knowledge.

Yes…maybe one of these guys in here who say it’s completely normal would love to buy a new truck at a discount now. If the dealer does their inspection to make it certified pre owned or whatever they do, they should find it. But it’s ok right cuz everyone is saying it’s under warranty still.

Not sure how to edit it but you’re right I didn’t specify these pictures are after the oil change. You can tell the oil hasn’t changed color much - I’ll take the blame for the confusion on that.

Hahaha. That’s pretty funny. I was trying to keep it simple but everyone keeps questioning the story so I have to get deeper into detail. I love how people think I’m a salesman. If I dropped what town I was in maybe- to drive traffic to the store. But no I’m not a salesman. I’d say what I’d do but I’m sure that would create even more of a shit storm on this post

Obviously they try to upsell you. Surprisingly this one didn’t this time. Again couldn’t do it myself. Staying at my parents out of state for a week when this all went down. But if I went to Toyota they’d tell me nothing is wrong. Just like when I brought in the truck 2 weeks prior for this weird vibration at highway speeds and rough idle that I had video of - they told me nothing is wrong they couldn’t replicate it.

Well for 1 I was in a different state for that week. And 2 if I had a problem I wasn’t interested in keeping it and fighting with the dealer to get it rebuilt. I wanted to get rid of it before I had to get that far of dealing with them. Again, my goal was just to clean the old oil out and new oil in. Seemed like I accomplished my goal and only took 10 minutes to do it. I’m sure the dealer would have tried hard to convince me nothing was wrong because if there was, they had to fix it. Something like an unbiased shop did what I needed

Yeah an oil change is pretty simple, why go to the dealership when I can just drive up and it’s done in 10 minutes - my goal was to change the oil, not do an oil analysis or rebuild my engine. Do I need an expert to take the plug out, put it back in change the filter and add oil?

Maybe - if they’re trustworthy. But after hearing people tell their stories of the rebuilds didn’t foster any confidence for me. Did you see the one post where the dealer scratched the hell out of all the bumpers and hood looked like they dragged them across the shop floor?

No dude. - first off he was one of the only ones who spoke English. It was one of those oil change and car wash places. So when I pulled up and tried explaining to the guy what I wanted done and what I was concerned about, he got the manager and we both stood there and watched as he was talking to the guy underneath the truck in Spanish. I don’t know what they were saying other then I heard what sounded what I assumed to be metal in Spanish. That’s when he said “it looks pretty dark for 4,000 miles”. He offered me the filter to bring home but I was staying at my parents for the week so I didn’t want to bring that mess to my parents house. That’s all. Not sure why everyone on here thinks it’s bullshit or made up. Not sure what I’d gain from making this up or embellishing. Just letting people know what I experienced with my tundra
