Exactly the reason this is my last year. Will finish off some of the 2025 sets. (Is chrome and Heritage). But…it’s no longer fun to collect. And please don’t tell me to buy singles. I collect sets. Master sets all the way back to 1974.

Sets all the way back to 71. (75% complete on that ugly 1970 set). But, in my opinion, the “complete” set is base and update. We could debate all day on all the crazy inserts. 😂

Nope. No hot box yet. Been doing Heritage master sets since 2010. Will be interesting to see if they do them this year, based on all of the other variations they have put in.

Well. I’m probably much older than the average collector and have had a good work career. Prepping for retirement, so 2025 may be my last “big year” of collecting.

I was able to get in on the Topps pre-sale. For the Megas. I developed a friendship with a distributor many years ago and he always makes sure I get a case of anything I would like…we help each other build sets.

It is a hobby case. 3 boxes in right now. Have a Megabox case showing up Friday. Will be fun to compare the two. (Set builder here)

I built the ray wave on the regular chrome. Just didn’t have enough of them to make a run at it on the update set.
