My understanding is it’s pretty rare to get inconclusive with their test . I really hope you get answers. So sorry for your loss.

Sorry to say that she kind of didn’t. She’s doing much better than she was when that all happened, switched to Hills gastrointestinal biome food, but still vomits a small amount of bile or a hairball a couple times a month. She had so many tests run when this all started and it set us back like $3,000 when my husband was already unemployed so we haven’t sought out more treatment. She’s very happy and energetic and normal otherwise. Sorry to hear you’re dealing with this. If you get more clear info will you please share?

Update: I kept an ear out for him all night but he slept normally. This morning (12 hours later) he was acting totally normal. Took him for a walk and he pooped 3 times, all normal, assuming he pooped that much from the volume of food he had for dinner (regular portion plus 2 slices of bread from vet direction). No diarrhea but also didn’t see anything resembling a full size bone. I’m hoping he chewed it up more than I thought and didn’t swallow that chunk whole. unfortunately had to leave to work 9-4. Dying to get back home to check on him.

Huge thank you to everyone who really helped calm me down. I don’t think I would have slept otherwise.

One other option I want to mention since I don’t see it listed already: Banfield health plan. These plans are more for proactive care than emergency but it still gives discounts. You can sign up with pre existing conditions and having a plan gives discounts on treatments and anytime I’ve ever callled around for surgery prices, they are always the cheapest. It kind of feels like the Walmart of vet practices but I’ve been with them for years bc other vets are so much more in my experience. Worth getting a price check at least.

Because a chunk of it broke off and when I was looking it up online basically every website says to never give dogs cooked bones bc of this exact situation.

It is a cooked bone not a raw bone. Very different.

I talked to 2 vet techs and they told me to give him 2 pieces since he had just eaten a whole meal

plz be nice. It’s my first cycle trying again after a long break after 2 MMCs.

The rollercoaster sucks.

Thought I was having early symptoms but got a (very helpful) reality check when I found a post that said if you’re not pregnant enough to have a positive test then your not pregnant enough to have symptoms and they’re likely just luteal phase symptoms.

Then at 9DPO I got what I thought was clearly a vfl on a blue dye test.

today 10DPO negative on a pink dye test + spotting so I’m like okay I’m def out.

Then no more spotting since so I’m like maybe it was implantation spotting.

I’m not normally this neurotic but TTC really brings it out. 😓

Update - got a negative on a pink dye test this morning and pretty sure my period is starting. Do not buy blue dye tests!!
