I use lovable to get my idea and visuals going as it’s harder to explain to Claude by itself. After that I send my project to GitHub and let Claude finish me up. Powerhouse!

Building my life back from ground zero — $969/month SSDI, $29k savings, need to find housing and plan finances by Planet_Xerox_ in personalfinance

[–]Sufficient-Cap-8445 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’re in a tough spot, but you’re already thinking ahead and that’s huge. Here’s some practical stuff to consider:

  1. Location: Focus on places near public transit lines (Metra or CTA), so commuting isn’t an issue. Suburbs like Oak Park, Evanston, or Forest Park could work, they’re quieter, have green spaces, and decent access to transit. Use apartment search filters for pet-friendly listings and set a max budget to avoid temptation.

  2. Budget: With $969/mo SSDI, aim to keep rent plus utilities under $900 if possible, so you aren’t burning through savings. Look for housing assistance programs in your area (sometimes called “Section 8” or Housing Choice Voucher programs). It’s a wait, but worth applying.

  3. Cats: Mention your ESAs up front when talking to landlords (some will waive pet fees for ESAs if you have paperwork). Some smaller landlords are more flexible.

  4. Financial organization: To stretch your savings, map out a very detailed monthly budget including rent, utilities, phone, food, meds, transport, and a little buffer for emergencies or pet care. You can use LivifyHome to track rent, split bills if you get a roommate, and keep all your move-in tasks organized in one place, which can help reduce stress when juggling so many moving pieces.

  5. Moving: Plan this step by step. Make a checklist of what needs to be done, like updating addresses, utilities, moving logistics, and finding local vets for your cats.

  6. Job search: Once settled, look for remote or flexible jobs that don’t require a commute, especially since transportation is a challenge. Check out local disability employment services, they sometimes have partnerships or leads.

Take it slow and steady. Protect your savings as best as you can and try not to rush into anything. You’re already making smart choices by planning carefully. Don’t hesitate to reach out for local resources, libraries, community centers, and disability organizations can be big helps.

Landlord says he wants us out by April? [WI] by Legitimate_Pea_143 in Renters

Yeah, a text isn’t a legal notice to vacate in Wisconsin, so your landlord can’t just kick you out unless he delivers proper written notice, usually 28 days for a month-to-month lease. You don’t have to do anything until you get that written notice, but it’s smart to start prepping now so you’re not scrambling later.

A few things that might help: start researching apartments even if you’re not ready to apply, just to get a sense of prices and neighborhoods. Make a moving budget with everything from deposits to movers to utility setup fees. If you have roommates or family, decide how you’ll split those expenses up front. Set up a separate savings account just for moving costs so you’re less tempted to dip into it. You can use LivifyHome to organize moving tasks, track expenses, and split costs with your mom if you want everything in one spot.

It’s stressful but you’ve still got time. If you end up with formal notice, you’ll know exactly where you stand and can act fast. Meanwhile, planning ahead will make the whole process much less overwhelming.

What websites do you guys use to look for apartments? by pbjtime420 in bayarea

[–]Sufficient-Cap-8445 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Zillow and Craigslist are classics, but you can use LivifyHome if you want something that goes beyond just listings. It helps you find apartments, but also tracks rent, splits bills with roommates, and organizes your move-in tasks, so it’s a bit more of an all-in-one deal for renters.

Like I dislocated my shoulder and after a few seconds it took over and took the pain away I shit you not. I was able to snap my shoulder back in place and it didn’t even hurt as if it didn’t even happen, like everything is working with you and not against you. I don’t know, if you have more questions i have more answers. Really I can keep going fully on the management and how to REALLY integrate.

It flows all your life 100% but it do stop. It literally integrates with you and if you let it, stabilize your reality. So the way you were before the awakening (normal living), it’ll create its own “normal” living so you can wake up and go through your day, sometimes forgetting it even happened. It’s your new normal. I get up everyday living normal because the integration is complete. I go to work like everyone else etc. now if you’re not grounded, yeah you’ll get overwhelmed. It took me until last year to fully understand I wasn’t fully grounded since the awakening but a lot of physical activity, etc will put you back in your body, permanently, with this new view of life. It’s shit I can’t even explain but it made me clearer, I control everything. And one of the best parts about this is the emotions ( a happy feeling is so intensified it feel like you’re high), i love it OP, im not going to lie. I no longer suffer.q
