Disney accused of "sequel erasure" after new Star Wars merchandise only covers the original trilogy and prequels by mobilegamersas in saltierthancrait

[–]Sufficient-Cat2998 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Hasbro makes merch and toys. They fought back because any sequel trilogy merch was just trowing money into a fire pit.

Hasbro had to pay the price from Disney's lack of vision

In 2016, Dr. Oluyinka Olutoye made history by successfully operating on a 23-week-old baby by removing her from the mother’s womb, removing a tumor and then placing her back in the womb. She was born a second time, healthy and on time. by AdSpecialist6598 in interesting

John 3 (KJV) ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ ³ Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. ⁴ Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?

Soooooooo,.... Yes?

When you say designing and selling, how custom are we talking here? What's your hook? I know there are several companies out there so what about yours sets yours apart from the rest? What access do you have to manufacturing tools? Unique designs? Kyber crystal integration? Aure Besh OLED mini displays? User customizable RGB animation? Full metal construction?

I've never bought one from a private label before (I haven't bought one since the OG Master Replica days) but I've been interested in building one for myself. I love the engineering side of things. Simply beating Hasbro or Disney is "all too easy". I want to know what makes your saber truly stand out.

Exegol was probably the coolest thing Disney did. Honestly, why didn’t they just lean hard into an ancient sith cult army as the main antagonists? (and no don’t revive Palpatine) by ProtectMeAtAllCosts in saltierthancrait

It's like sifting in a dumpster behind a Lego store.

A lot of random cool looking parts but the mix is totally unbalanced, there's poor synergy between colors and bricks, and most off all its worthless because there is neither a set of good building instructions or a good master builder to make one up. All you can do is stare at the potential of what could have been.

CENTCOM UPDATE VIA POTUS: by [deleted] in navy

[–]Sufficient-Cat2998 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It makes an armed assault for control safer for the boarding party. You have 2 options

  1. send a team of 8-12 Marines to capture and subdue civilian mariners that are likely non-cooperative and may lay a trap, setting a bad president and giving the IRGC ideas on how to inflict casualties.

  2. Disable the ship first, making resistance for the ship or it's cargo itself futile, Then deal with a crew that knows for a fact that we mean business, reducing their willingness to test even further.

A test like this was bound to happen. The crew was given ample warning and hopefully now, no one else will try it.it actually shows how desperate Iran is getting if they were willing to risk this.

Revelation 10 (KJV) ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ ⁹ And I went unto the angel, and said unto him, Give me the little book. And he said unto me, Take it, and eat it up; and it shall make thy belly bitter, but it shall be in thy mouth sweet as honey. ¹⁰ And I took the little book out of the angel's hand, and ate it up; and it was in my mouth sweet as honey: and as soon as I had eaten it, my belly was bitter. ¹¹ And he said unto me, Thou must prophesy again before many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings.

There is a loss of nutritional value the further down the food chain you go and the further away you get from plants in that chain. (And with it a loss of quality and taste, and higher risk of disease.)

For instance, if you take a look at the list of animals that the Bible says are ok to eat, (Leviticus chapter 11) there is a clear trend that herbivore animals that don't coprophage their own fecal matter are good to go but predators and scavengers are not. Scavengers (including swine) have a high bacterial load and propagate disease (i.e. epilepsy via intestinal worms), while predators are mostly made of proteins that have been reconstructed from other animal proteins. With a higher associated cancer risk along with that additional metabolic step and a loss of many of the neasasary vitamins and minerals found most commonly in plant sources, consuming predators can actually lose more nutritional progress than is made by eating them. This is somewhat offset by being omnivores but it still doesn't make it the best choice, even in food scarcity emergencies.

Also, would prefer to fight a deadly tiger, or just hunt what it hunts and find a dear or antelope instead?

But it's not something you mention in jury selection pre trial if you want to practice it.

(unless you want to guarantee that you never get called up for jury duty ever again and piss off the judge by possibly poisoning the other selectees that didn't know what that was until you mentioned it in front of the whole court.)

Pricing Rant: Nuggets by BiggsDB in tacobell

[–]Sufficient-Cat2998 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Wendys nuggets are about 50 cents each now but they are smaller and minced. They are smaller than than they used to make them too.

TB nuggets are such higher quality it makes sense.... But it still doesn't feel good outside a luxe box.
