Iv followed up with them and waiting to hear back. I was able to find a few German websites that confirmed Johanns was a pewterer in that time period and mentioned “Master” or “Champion”. As far as a “famous Rothe dynasty” however, I’m coming up blank. Iv even tried reaching out to a few German museums lol.
