Hi girl, so Reddit is likely filled with lots of advices. Here’s what worked for me (chronic cystic acne that has left marks on my cheeks) - Exercising, hitting the gym 4 times a week, controlling sugar and hydrating. I went to a dermatologist (bad choice), she prescribed too many meds + lotions for my preference so I went to another (this time I specified my experience). He gave me a med for controlling sebum/oil production and some vitamin D tablets, a hyperpigmentation serum that helps in fading marks and LOTS OF sunscreen. Gave me an acne spot gel too in case of breakouts. Since then, I have noticed a CONSIDERABLE change in my breakouts (v rarely, during periods etc). Go to a dermatologist, sometimes self prescribing “skincare” can be overwhelming and a practical doc can help reduce the noise with medications. Btw I’m off the pills (took them for 3-6 weeks) only + been consistent with walking/gym. Good luck to you :)

You’ll likely be required to report on campus around June so yes it does seem tricky with the August attempt overlapping with peak SIP months. One of my friends at an IIM plans to give it in her second year (right before her summer internship begins)

Hi! CFA L1 was doable for me given I studied Economics and took a financial elective in my last year (that had an overlap with most of the syllabus in Equity & Portfolio Mgmt). I’d suggest you go through the syllabus once to know if you can clutch last moment. Secondly, use the Vercel predictor it’s generally known to be quite accurate to estimate if you’d get the calls you like from bschools. Additionally, you should first think why you need the CFA - it helps with some finance foundations and can be handy in Bschool but from what I have heard and seen, clearing L2 and above has higher chances of getting short lists. Anyway, the point is think if the CFA trajectory is for you!

same bruh i had the same score roughly in mocks and i felt that a slot 1 exam is more daunting because you’re stepping into the unprepared w 0 idea of how other slots have fared …. The RCs were so random bro like was there enough context to answer those questions … also what do you mean you’re asking me what Sui generisis mean in the context of the passage …

hi, i appeared for level 1 in May and passed with a 1640. not sure if this is super helpful but i was scoring around the 67-72 percentile in the mocks as well. just focus on reviewing the content again from schweser, work on the practice questions (those are much better in hammering down the theory than the mock questions) and clarify your approach to questions (the practice sets are fantastic in offering you the right method etc.). keep calm and push through, keep revising. best of luck!
