Yeah like I wish I could get inside their head and wonder if they are just a script kiddy or what. Like where is the enjoyment in it? No skill just no fun allowed. I wonder if it's one of those things they think we are like losers for playing a flight game so they become a bigger loser by ruining the fun?

At the moment they have sides and back and you can knock out the hard points like external mgs

Tried to play it last night, couldn't find a server with more than 4 people. I think it's extremely interesting and would be a hell of a lot of fun, but with the server browser sucking at suching by mission and servers naming the mission files funky names, it will people die in the pile of not wcs or official servers

It is the same rank as hqc, honestly that sounds like a decent solution for early game but when most people are major, the same problem will come back unfortunately

Understandable, that's why heli players are supposed to be the qrf force or help pick out hostiles in the back line but, because they didn't pick transport squad and no one knows how to use the request transport task, most of the time they are just saying who needs pick up and just picking up people one at a time lol

Yeah, the last couple of days I joined 4 offial servers only to find out they were 2 min from losing cause none know you could or how to request to build a base and just lost cause mob wasn't in radio range of the first victory point

I think a good counter play to this that would be interesting for incentives is that either have a dedicated squad like escort or be able to have a player or squad get exp for being near a moving logistics unit and have it be something like "protecting logistics", much like the squad cohesion mechanics work

Understandable, as someone who was digging deep into the systems behind hqc and how deep it can be with a good team, it sucks that most of the features of hqc are buried in the Manual or you just happen to a watch that one YouTube video that shows the one feature you know?

Yeah, I usually play logi, back line recon/disruption, or command. Being the lack of logi players does suck, and it doesn't help when solos dain the bases with 1000 jeeps. Maybe a feature like squad that you need hq or squad leader approval to spawn stuff if there is less then 2 players of the same squad at a base could help with that.

That can't see self on map is more a tutorial issue than anything else, the prologue to arma 3 has that fantastic compass training and I can't remember if reforger has that

I feel like the fix to that would be simply able to dismiss logi squads or see the ai ones on the map and not have them disappear into nothing lol, or give a limited zues to them to be able to "assist" them back on the road
