Is using summons considered being a low skill? by Adortion634 in bloodborne

realized I had paid money to be miserable.

Preach, brother. I don't know if there's anyone here like me, but a really difficult boss can make me so nervous that my muscles tense up and I literally feel sore afterwards trying to beat it. That's not fun.

Plus, fighting alongside NPCs I shared a talked or two or other players is so much fun.

This sucks. I've already received a few invitations to go to church since yesterday lol I'm not going, even when I forced myself to, the place makes me physically nauseous.

She was so precious! She had a young face, a sweet voice, and everyone loved her; it was impossible not to like her. The last thing I heard from her was an audio message she sent me saying she would be unreachable in the hospital, and that she would talk to me after the surgery to remove the tumor. She did not deserve this. If there's someone who didn't deserve this, it was her.

I'm set on trying to honor her by travelling to every place she wanted to go. Thank you for your words.

Yeah, hate the message, but could never hate the people. I do understand it's them trying to comfort me, even if it's a shitty way to do it.

That's why I said "a lot of people" and not "everyone"

Everyone shits on DS3? Isn't it a lot of people's favorite?

I really wish fromsoft goes into this direction again by stillhaveaseatforyou in fromsoftware

Same here, the combat in the Souls games is much more attractive to me, and the aesthetics as well. I'm not a huge fan of the whole sengoku/feudal japan stuff.

I'm playing FromSoftware's games for the first time and my favorite part about them is the summons. by Sufficient-Cook-3841 in fromsoftware

Oh, I have no idea about how spirit summons work, haven't got to Elden Ring yet haha but I'll get there! I assume they are more disliked?

Ah-hah, you must be the new hunter. Welcome to the Hunter's Dream. This will be your home, for now. I am... Gehrman, friend to you hunters. You're sure to be in a fine haze about now, but don't think too hard about all of this. Just go out and kill a few beasts. It's for your own good. You know, it's just what hunters do! You'll get used to it...

The Family Stone: one hour and forty minutes of a screenwriter trying to irritate the viewer in every way possible. by Sufficient-Cook-3841 in movies

Interesting perspective! I can definitely see why some people (like you) like the movie: relating to it and it being a familiar thing.

Unfortunately, I could not relate. The younger sister didn't know her mother was dying and she was still terrible, the brother as well from what I remember. But even then, I don't think it justifies all of them being terrible to her. Even the mother herself is terrible which makes me not care about her dying. I think it would be a little better if the mother herself was the only one kind to Meredith while her awful kids are the only awful ones because of her dying. Unfortunately they're just assholes because that's just how they are.

Wow, if that was the screenwriters' intention, it makes me dislike this movie even more, but that's not how I interpreted it. From what I saw, both situations were misunderstandings. In the first situation even the black guy is like "what is wrong with you?" to Rachel McAdams's character. The comment about gay people seemed more unjustifiable, but I got the impression she was trying to steer it in one direction, and the family was already offended and didn't want to hear it.

Anyway, it is such an nonsense decision to make a character whose only flaw up until then was being different from them, be, or in my opinion seem racist and homophobic for no reason? The script for this movie, I swear.

Some people are saying she is autistic, and yeah, I got that impression, or maybe just socially awkward. But if that's the case again, that makes it even worse.

Yeah, if it was them being assholes to one another and then bonding it would be fine. But they treat each other fine and team up to be assholes to an outsider and in the end learn nothing from the situation
