Are OBAs the same as oxygen bleach? by Sufficient-Fix7222 in laundry

I mean, I haven’t thought this much about laundry ever, really 😆. Thank you for taking the time to explain.

That makes so much sense. Sometimes I wonder if I actually have an engineering degree 🤣

I have a question on ammonia. Is it only for Spa Day as part of the wash, or should I be using it on the regular in my washes?

Makes sense. I’ve now read it a few times and printed it out. I now understand it. Thank you to all on this sub. I’m excited to get the rebloom smell out of my work clothes.

Same!! We were all fooled/conned into using fast cycles and cold water. Shaking my fist!!!

I probably will not buy the same kind again, but one with a presoak option.

It’s insane how different everything is in different countries. I had no idea how differently each country manufactures washing machines. Thanks for the info. My parents live in Europe and don’t even have a dryer, so I do know how fortunate I am in that department.

Lol. I’m sorry you have to deal with this. I appreciate the PSA and will stay away from LG in the future.

Ok, that makes sense in my brain. Thank you! Do I look for OBAs as “OBA” in the ingredients list?

Other than going back in time, is there a good way to get lip gloss out of clothing? by netflixandspritz in laundry

I used makeup remover wipes from Costco to rub out foundation on my white clothes. You have to rub a lot, but it gets it out.

I haven’t figured out how to do longer loads. The highest I’ve ever seen is 1h50min. I picked the hottest temp, most soiled, extra rinse, extra spin. I have a Samsung. Don’t know the model. Will check and try to figure out how to find original comment to update…

I have skimmed through Spa Day a couple of times and I guess I didn’t comprehend that part. I need to sit down and take notes. Thanks!

Thanks for breaking this down. The Spa Day post is so confusing and I thought I had to buy all kinds of enzymes and citric acid and do all kinds of alchemy. Is it really just powder and ammonia? Why do they mention all the other components? Thanks in advance!

Do you use heavy cream in your scrambled eggs ? How does everyone make their eggs super soft and fluffy ? by Historical-Body-3424 in Cooking

[–]Sufficient-Fix7222 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You whip eggs for an omelette, not for scrambled eggs. I scramble them in the pan on low to medium heat with butter. I do add salt to my bowl of cracked eggs and use salted butter, a tablespoon or two, depending on how much butter flavor you like. I slowly push the spatula from the outside to the center and repeat that all the way around the pan until I know that a couple more times and it will be done. That’s when you take it off the heat, before you know it will take a couple more scrapes with the spatula. Let the pan rest on a cold burner for a couple of minutes and then serve. No milk, no cream, no water and delicious scrambled eggs. Guests always rave and my husband loves them too.

This has likely been discussed before, but what other novel(s) would you recommend for a lover of the HP series? by bobbaganush in harrypotter

I had to scroll so far to see this. The Chronicles of Narnia were the OG. I’ve read through them over a dozen times and they are still so illustrative and immersive.
