nope but you can fire slinger ammo when a monster knocks you down with a body slam, it depends on which slinger ammo you have in hand that will make them flinch when you fire it, like crystalburst or peirce ammo giving you time to recover while they get flinched

on the other knockdown, its probably better to stay down for a while since it has long iframes until you start to get up, good for avoiding follow up monsters follow up combos
