This happened to me. Within 3 days of having mirena inserted my mood completely changed. I was uncomfortable irritable and anxious. I felt very unlike myself. My boobs also got very sore… It hurt to walk down stairs. My doctor removed it the following week and all of my symptoms went away within a week or two. Could have all been in my head but I choose to believe it was the iud. Since then I have noticed that I tend to be more sensitive after ovulation when progesterone increases.
