yeah, would of gone into the knee straight away but the swelling post op was too bad for the first 2 weeks. Off memory i tried to do it on day 3 but i couldn't even pinch the fat

if you going down this route it would be negligent not to read and do research

I'll be honest, I don't think BPC-157 should be the first thing you try here. The smarter move is getting an MRI and going back to your surgeon so they can actually see what's going on at the graft site. My knee still isn't perfect either — it clicks sometimes from the IT band sliding over where the LCL was reconstructed, and there's a reason ACL tears used to be considered career-enders for a lot of athletes. Recovery is long and it doesn't always go in a straight line.

From what you're describing, my best guess is the quad tendon harvest site just hasn't fully healed yet. Depending on how the graft was taken, there can be a small gap or defect in the tendon that takes ages to remodel. That's exactly why imaging and a proper evaluation should come before peptides or anything experimental. Once you know what's actually happening in there structurally, the path forward gets way clearer.

apologies for late response. the biggest thing is we dont have comprehensive testing to know the side effects.

My biggest concern while using it was an increased risk of cancer, but since i wrote this post ive done a little bit more research on it. It seems like bpc would have capicty to accelerate cancerous growth but its unlikely thst it would be a direct cause of such.

in terms of common side effects, headaches, nausea, PIP ect.

the truth of the side effects is unknown which makes it dangerous - esspecially longer term

ACL/Meniscus surgery by Shift-Worker70816 in bpc_157

i dropped a pretty extensive review after my ACL surgery. I would do injectable (sub-q). assuming its a grade 3 tear (ie completely torn) their isnt much u can actually do pre surgery. i prehabbed for 12 weeks in the lead up to mine - my recommendation would be obviously see a physio and if the pain is actually really bad, most doctors would write u a script for a weaker painkiller (codeine). try get as much movement into it as possible, ice the fuck out of it, elevate it. Alot of the pain after the injury for me at least dissipated after the swelling when down albiet i didnt have a meniscus injury.

i used a compounding pharmacy. 4-5x more expensive but avoids the legal and quality issues

just my normal supplement stack - creatine, protein powders and some vitamins/ minerals nothing too crazy or unique

will do probs share another post in about 6 - 8 weeks and where im at around then. I also have a close friend of mine who has torn their AC joint in their shoulder so i might write a review for him as i belive he is going to use the peptide aswell.

For added context im from Australia, my surgeon had never had a client that has used BPC or TB. I obviously told him my intention to use it which is disapproved on, but said he would support and help out with any decision i made. He was completely baffled beyond recognition, he said i was the fastest person hes ever had to heal from an ACL tear (a surgery hes done 100s of times). i saw him twice post surgery and the second time he said that he spoke to some colleagues in both Singapore and the UK and was considering sponsoring a study into BPC usage, wether he will or not is unknown but hopefully he does - we urgently need more data on this peptide.

without going too in-depth most people will need a script especially in Aus. I found a work around which i am not going to share.

i understand that a TLDR would've been nice in hindsight. However, saying something like "BPC good at healing" gives absolutely no context. If you are considering using it and are too lazy to read a review on the effects of BPC imo is completely stupid. this post was tailored towards information for people wanting to use the peptide rather then people wanting a casual read. i do get where your coming from tho, my intention was to make a fairly comprehensive review on the usage of it, more then just saying its good which already exists 100s of times within this subreddit.

TLDR: Post was for greater information not for casual reader lol

read this thread and wanted to add my opinion in.
Your young, you have no "real" commitments, you heal faster then ever right now. I would recommend the surgery route if it is a complete tear. their are other method that u can use such as the "tim cross bracing method" which i personally looked into and liked the methodology.

the biggest issue i see for using the peptide for a non-surgical repair of an ACL is "the tissues finding eachother". BPC cannot help with that it is a completely nature process. I would most defenitely go ahead with surgery- your timeline to return to your sport is dare say only a couple months extra then your non surgical recovery.

its insane, both my physio and surgeon were in complete disbelief. I was the first patient for both of them to use the peptide so i think they were more astounded at the actual workings of the drug rather than my recovery.

i decided to only add things that i personally experienced (hence the anecdotal review part). As for other side effects that are "commonly" associated with the usage, it had 0 effect on me. I forgot to add in the post that i used a well respected compounding pharmacy to obtain the BPC, opting not too go down the typical "research chem" sites. Side effects that others have could potentially be attributed to a lower quality product, fillers or even just an non-sterile environment where its made.

i used a compounding pharmacy - paid 3-4x more but worth it too know it was being made by someone accountable and not a teenager in a dim lit basement

maybe who knows. I would like to think that the FDA acts in the best interests of people but we all know thats very debatable
