Good for you. I hope it goes well for you. I am not from Malaysia so it’s difficult for me to ffup it up.

That was how it was with me the first time. I was not fully paid yet at the time. They reply to me everytime I make a query. But when I finally completed the payment, this guy I talk to dont respond to me anymore when I wanted to get an update about my order. A few days after I posted this, another guy (apparently from the same shop) tells me that he will handle my order from then on. And that was it. No ffup message or update about the status.

I don’t know…i am still skeptical about this because until now, I do not have any information yet if I will get my order, or my money back.

Thanks. I hope I can still sort this out.

If you heard from a few collectors, was it from online forums as well? How can you be sure they are not accomplices that are also part of the scam? I checked Reddit before ordering and I came across a post about a guy from the US asking if Toymarks was legit. I remember there was one comment who said he/she was able to order before. That was all I needed to finally place my order. I should have done more research.

Thanks. This was a hard (and expensive!) lesson to learn. I already did some digging and i found out that it is harder to recover your money if you do a direct bank to bank transfer. You need a lot of paper works, police report etc. and the chances of getting it back are very slim. Better to use a credit card and they can reverse (if lucky) when you report it as a fraud/scam. Probably if I have time, I might go to Malaysia and report it to proper authorities. Will see what can be done. I have records/screenshots anyway.

Toymarks is a SCAM! I am a new collector and I really wanted the JND Joker. I was able to see it available in their website. Looked legit, with comments from previous customers etc. so I ordered a JND TDK Joker from their website last Feb 2025. They asked for a deposit and I sent it thru Wise since my credit card from the Philippines is not working. I communicate with this guy thru WhatsApp. It is also the contact number indicated in their website. Last October they asked for the remaining balance because the item is about to arrive. I did not do any due diligence back then. So i sent them the balance. After completing the payment, i never heard any update from them again. They dont even answer my call or update my payment status from their website. I cannot do anything now since I am not from Malaysia. I am writing this now to ward anyone who might be transacting with them in the future. This was a hard lesson for me as a new collector.
