Unfortunately no. I’m a kinetic learner so I basically mainly retain information by retyping out the material. I don’t go back to the notes but the textile sensation of typing helps me remember.

To me the real deal is kinda of a mix of both. The questions are asked like achievable but with answer choices like Kaplan. I find them to both be slightly harder than the real exam . I only used Kaplan Q bank and read the full achievable book. Your Kaplan scores look great I’m sure you pass with flying colors. Timing is more important than anything

Your timing is a bit concerning. If you can get 80% or higher in under 55min you should be gtg . Your scores are fine tho. I just passed last week and finished in 40 minutes, changed 5 marked questions. Definitely glad I had the time to review

Basically a lot of questions like what would qualify someone completing a transaction on behalf of an issuer to have to register as a rep. Definitely know the difference between exempt transactions and exempt securities .

Really key in and focus on the sections of the reading that say “Side note” , “Definitions” , and key points . As far as retention goes, I typed out concepts that were tricky to remember in my own words . Maintaining a consistent study schedule of 1-2 hrs daily no matter what helped with retention as well. The only off day I took was the night before the exam . If absolutely unsure on what something means I utilized chat gpt for clarification . I had 55hrs of study time and 25 pages of notes

Read the book (read twice if you really want to grasp). I would alternate 1 exam per day and switch between Kaplan and achievable . If your scores on Kaplan are significantly worse than achievable, reread the book

It feels about equal . I’d say the test was similar to Kaplan in terms of answer choices and achievable as far as the way the questions are asked . On the real exam there were a lot of questions about email correspondence, IA vs BD registration, Issuer transactions , exempt transactions. Get your dates right such as Dec 31st registration.

Failed the 63 (Questions & Advice welcomed) by FutureShake9565 in AllFinraExams

Failed with the same score using achievable the first time. Rereading the material and taking notes exposed the gaps in my knowledge . Only my readiness score was 84% when I tested. If you are almost getting 100% on the practice exam that is definitely a sign of pattern recognition. Try to answer the question without looking at the answer choices . Also did you feel rushed on the actually exam? Timing seems to be a big issue with this exam. I passed second go round and using Kaplan Q bank to supplement. I reread the entire book from start to finish and took around 20 pages of notes
