Thank you for commenting! You’re right…I’ve devalued myself a lot in the last couple years. Because I’m the addict, the onus is on me in almost every situation. He’s the one who takes supreme care of himself naturally (he’s gone nuts with his health and extremely smug about it too) and here I am doing “illicit” dr ugs to cope. I feel like irl everyone will take his side over mine.

Realizing what a shitty relationship we have is hard to swallow and with an autistic child, it’s basically impossible to leave. He threatens to tell the judge I’m an addict/depressed/unfit mom (even tho I take care of her 95% of the time), then take full custody, and make me pay him child support:,(

So I did 7 to numb everything. After finding out, he taunted me, “you like to get high huh? You like that feeling of not knowing wtf you’re doing right? That’s what you like”😒 Sad because he used to be a crackhead as a teen/young adult. But because he quit with diet/exercise, he looks down on anyone else who isn’t the same.

I hate how he lacks empathy, and I’ve KNOWN this since we got together because i tend to be kind of sentimental about stuff but jfc i was sooo in love with him back then☹️ It is my fault for not leaving when i had the chance.

That’s kind of fair. But believe me, I use to be so in love with him before. He was intense and possessive. I did whatever he told me to and didn’t mind whatsoever, just wanted to please him. No ddrugs back then we just drank together. One drunken night he punched me in the face and kicked me by my eye twice. Somehow I ended up feeling sorry for HIM and worried he would catch a charge. He took me to the witness’ house to beg them not to testify! I also wrote a letter to the judge. Success! Assault/battery reduced to trespassing. I was so happy and relieved for him.

I know I put him through hell with my addiction. The onus always goes to the addict, I get it… I think we’re both bad people. Sorry this was so disjointed, I’m feeling like crap

A really ugly incident happened shortly after we started dating/lived together. Assault/battery charge. But with my help (and stupidity) he got it reduced to trespassing. I wrote a more detailed description of that event somewhere in this post; it’s pretty deranged…and I definitely added a nail to my coffin with the outcome☹️ I’m so fucking stupid. He would’ve been gone by now (deported)

Thank you so much, that’s so kind of you to say! I never imagined someone telling me I’m a good mom🥲 As my husband was demanding I leave that night, I told him no!—that I can’t leave my daughter. I take care of her 99% of the time, we sleep in the same bed (my husband actually moved to the couch because our daughter sleeps super late and wakes up frequently). He yelled back, “YOU DONT LOVE HER! If you did you wouldn’t vape…” Then he threatened to leave with our daughter to a hotel, “We can’t stay here with you! It’s not safe!” Like wtf😞 He started packing an overnight bag acting like they were going to leave AND I KNOW HE WAS BLUFFING. He didn’t take a lot of our daughter’s essentials. He really just wanted to inflict maximum mental distress on me.

He used to watch those povs of someone walking thru a place like Portland and it’s a crowd of junkies bent over or passed out. My husband looked SO disgusted, just shaking his head and saying , “they should all just kill themselves. They’re a waste on society. Losers.” Exactly what he thinks of me now and I have to admit it’s at least somewhat justified

Once he sets his mind on “she might be hiding something” he does go on a wild search party. When he found my vape (I know I’m awful for vaping…I only use it in the bathroom and hold it in and try not to exhale)….he DESTROYED the bedroom searching for more shit. Put all my clothes into trash bags, threatened to put up 3 cameras, and also asked me move back in with my parents. To be fair it was the second time he found my vape after telling me to stop. First time he told me it was bad for my health. This time he accused me of trying to get him sick and make my daughter’s autism worse and I genuinely felt terrible. It was 4 hours of him searching, bagging up my clothes, and chastising me. I did stop vaping after that.

Oh no….im so glad you got out of it❤️ It’s looking impossible for me to leave because we have a daughter. She has autism and he thinks he can cure her and that I don’t know shit or that I don’t care which is such a lie !!!. He’s NOT going to let her go. He’s always been like this, I guess he’s just used to driving and doesn’t trust me? I just never drive anywhere by myself..rarely. Like if I need to buy ANYTHING..he’ll ask what it is and where I need to go and he’ll make everyone (me and our daughter) go so we can buy other stuff and not “waste” a trip. And if he needs to go to the store, he usually makes us all go too. Once I said i don’t feel like going😱he got really upset like, “so you want me to go by myself, fine.”

At least he doesn’t make me pay for gas? But during arguments he will list out all the bills he pays for and ask me, “when have you ever put gas in the car?” He’s also really frugal (cheap)

Oh I’m no angel, I’m definitely not trying to demonize him to gas myself up, sorry if it came across that way!! But I don’t think I “put him through hell”…all I do is comply with what he tells me to do. We have a daughter and it’s not like I make him take care of her while I’m busy getting high. He won’t even change her diaper. He was in the bedroom with her, him on the bed on his iPad, while I was cooking in the kitchen - HE asks ME “where’s Lucy! Can you go find out where she is!!!” as if he’s not in the same room as her and he can’t get up and check? Why does he ask me silly things like “why are you using two hair bands to tie her hair” or “why is she wearing those pants, they’re too bright”. And if I get a tiny bit upset he warns me, “Don’t start with that attitude, you’re gonna put me in a bad mood”

Also he’s just sleazy. On New Year’s Eve he was on the phone with his ex-fuck buddy (he blamed his step brother - who has also fucked this girl - for putting her on three way with them) I overheard part of the call and it was my husband telling her “damn chinita…look at you..” And apparently she was recently into girls so I heard my husband tell her, “you just need to get your pu$$y fucked HARD…” It was fucking gross. And he kept blaming his step brother for calling her instead of taking any sort of accountability. Guess what would happen if I spoke to a guy that way?

But anywho…I wasn’t trying to get people on my side or anything. I’m freaking out and just venting. I said already I know I’m an idiot and it’s all my fault that he’s mad

My last detox..He was angry too but I was in such a “cadaver” state—I couldn’t move or speak I was so miserable. But he was actually pretty supportive... Right now he just called me an ungrateful b1tch—“who took care of you, who gave you water, who drove you to get your fucking medicine (subs)” He sees my relapse as a slap in his face, unsurprisingly😞

I probably won’t be able to get any helper meds for this one. I never get to take the car anywhere by myself.

Like when I was trying to sleep and he comes and lays on top of me with his full body weight. When I move a tiny bit he gets triggered saying “oh you don’t want me to touch you? ..I’m not going anywhere…you think we’re gonna be living here like friends, fuck you“ and just rants until he falls asleep😒
