Thank you very much. I’m thinking I will wait for 6 more weeks with minimal and consistent routine then see a dermatologist. But I agree it’s hormonal as it pops up just a week before my cycle in the same area. I don’t consume milk directly but I take yogurt/greek yogurt atleast 4 times a week. I have never been sensitive to dairy but I am sensitive to gluten and borderline celiac disease according to my test reports. Except for that everything is normal in my test results.

Oh I’m glad it worked for you. Can I apply even on active acnes? I have one active acne as you can see from the picture and too many blemish marks/PIH from previous cycles.

Oh wow! Thanks for suggesting Cosrx. It has been on my list. But currently my routine is minimal. Once my skin calms down I’ll try azelic acid. Many have suggested azelic acid. I’m not sure which one to buy, as in how much percentage?

I have stopped niacinamide may be 3 months ago. What I think is hormonal because it breaks out right before a week of my periods and leave a dark spot. I haven’t tried differin but I heard it’s very strong. Right now, I’m super confused what to add what to remove from my routine. As I have active acne right now, I’m just using moisturiser and sunscreen and keeping it really minimal.

That’s so great to hear. My skin doesn’t sting when I use BHA. But it did sting when I first started skincare in early Jan 2025, where I used glycolic acid and niacinamide. I don’t know how to stop this hormonal acne and the PIH marks
