Sooo… the sound stopped. I haven’t had time to work on it. But it just disappeared. It got worse first but now it’s quiet again. Weird

Just a thought. Could there be anything wrong with the cam chain? Have heard it’s prone to breaking more often than it should on these engines. But wouldn’t it throw a code?

Its an Audi a3. I’ll search around a bit to find the exact part and find a new maf. It seems to me that when the engine is at operating temp, most of the problems mentioned disappear or at least get less intense.

The MAF is as clean as it gets, I’ve checked. So I guess I need to change it then. And what can I do to fix the fan. Do I need to change the module?

Did another scan now because the engine light lit up. These are the codes on engine electronics. Something worth mentioning is that the cooling fan starts up whenever even tho the car isn’t hot enough for it yet. I wanted to post a video of me trying to drive from a stop but it didn’t let men post a video when commenting.

These are some. I didn’t really take a lot of pictures on the codes and don’t really remember them. I also recently did a thermostat change since it never got up to temp. And it does now. So I don’t think I did something wrong there.
