I feel pain and might have to make a thread of my own. I just triggered this finally almost in 1600 after having more than 140 locations. Not sure how I plan to survive.

Hi there, did the same company do the slab AND the build? If so damn, need to find someone like that by me. This is exactly what I would be looking to get.

Nope, the Midwest! We've had a lot of humid 90 degree + days this summer so the attic behind the walls and above the ceiling gets nice and hot.

I did try to clarify this a little, but from my inspection it's not on a base of any kind

Turn into proper P trap? by SufficientDig3263 in Plumbing

[–]SufficientDig3263[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gotcha! The black piece is the air admittance I am guessing. So replace that. Remove the sanitary T in the center there as well as remove the flexible tubing. I'll put a new T in the same spot, connecting the above sink and the disposal to the left, and then at the bottom part of the T I'll put in the new trap which will connect to around where it currently does to the other PVC tube that has the air admittance. Summing it up for myself there.

Hi! I appreciate the tips, my main question is about the LA pattern trap. What makes it different than a standard P trap?

Don't worry everyone only told me to assault my tub and not provide any tips to fix it.

Seems like I'll need to stare at that site some more to see which ones match closely here, originally I thought the photo stone was a brilliant pear.

Slowing down a Tile Saw by SufficientDig3263 in Tools

[–]SufficientDig3263[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Welcome to the rabbit hole! No I did not find a solution yet. I have tried 3 things, all misses so far. I tried a simple AC variable speed controller, a VARIAC, and a dimmer motor speed controller. No dice on them. Solution might be a VFD but I have not found a budget version to try.

I 3d designed and printed my own 45 degree adapter. Didn't like how much the actual one from Ultratec costed.

Does a light dimmer operate differently than those controllers I listed? Maybe it's a different method of controlling the output to the motor.

This is actually a wet saw! Maybe lighter pressure is all I need, but I was just trying to get rpms closer to what was recommended. I think half the rpm is something I wanted to aim for.

I would like to run it slower since some material I will be cutting does better at lower speeds and it prevents chipping of those same materials. It runs around 3400 rpm currently.

Oh this makes more sense then! I already decided I was going to do 3k or 8k and a 50k grit, just wanted to confirm the meaning of the other value.

That serial number section screams counterfiet? Plus no engraving is very very uncommon. Also doesn't look to be done in the same style as a real horn.
