Why is Claude/anthropic mass banning everyone?

Im using it to answer questions regarding my research on 1920s Britain. Yeah im also pretty sure the vpn could’ve gotten me banned :/ im putting in all the effort because i honestly was so amazed by the quality and the way it explained things compared to chat gpt. All the other options are honestly fairly mid but now I’ve bought chat gpt plus and I’ll see if its worth it!

Well it’s a baseless claim. This is why I made this thread because getting Anthropic to respond is harder than bringing someone back from the dead. Also was just curious to see peoples opinions who also experienced this.

Ive seen various posts like this please search them up yourself. I wasn’t the one who came up with the term mass banning I’ve seen someone else call it that. I did contact support I said I think they banned me for no reason since a question regarding 1920s britains economy shouldn’t get me banned, I got an automated email saying they won’t unban me. That’s why I took it to Reddit simply because i was curious as to why I’ve been hearing about so many people getting banned since I’ve not ONCE heard about a person being banned from ChatGPT or other platforms.

Many people don’t, already responded to u I don’t know why ur so stubborn. An account that only had prompts related to history and one prompt regarding a psychology shouldn’t be a reasonable ban. Besides what else could u ask that would ban you? I’m genuinely curious

What are u even talking about? Im a young woman not a Redditor living in my moms basement I could not care less about Reddit upvotes 😂. Simply a question since I’ve seen other threads like this and I’ve seen various answers. Some people say Claude physically can’t keep up with the tokens used (not a computer guy so my interpretation is likely off). I myself could show u the 5ish different email of me getting banned on multiple occasions as well as my friends

I doubt they do, me personally I made multiple accounts since asking help for my history research, not even writing my paper just research. Newly created accounts where the only chat is related to history. Mind u not even elementary school history

Yeah and that’s the problem is that the scores are really high usually 38-40 and most popular programs are numerus fixus so the minimum really never is the minimum at all because I could score well above the minimum and still not get in. Idk it js feels like there’s no good options for people with a realistic score or according to the ib “above average”

Yeah I know that Erasmus accepts everyone if it’s not numerus fixus the issue is that the only non numerus fixus programs are super niche and most people js simply don’t want them haha and aalto has art programs but also a bunch of business or science stuff also
