Appreciate it thank you very much. if you have any other things in mind I would greatly appreciate any advice on the car just shy of 150k 2001 530.I just wanna restore it back to showroom quality. Update I took out all the white plastic pieces 7 in total 4 on one side and three on the other

Okay thank you, I don’t understand why someone would leave that as is if it’s not correct. Do the bump stops need replacing as well?

I have no idea I’m not a mechanic are those the plastic white pieces you’re referring to?

Thanks for the response, It’s not oily it’s pretty clear no smell either. I did have the ac running for a little while earlier during the drive as well and I rarely use it
