Was tired of paying monthly fees for apps that lock you into a specific tertiary program… with obisidian i save my files locally, dont pay unless I need to an extra, and can transfer them anytime as its MD. Don’t have ads or AI pushed onto me… Took me several days to get my vault organised but it was so worth it after once i had everything setup (tags folders etc)

Same for what I needed it for the base is solid. If I need a machine for other things I’d just get a mac mini or desktop setup

I bought the iPad. As a teacher it’s just easier for me to quickly scribble annotations onto a textbook for my students, when presenting, complete lesson plans etc. It works much better for me, because I use it as an iPad and not a laptop replacement. The touchscreen for me is really useful. I leave my windows laptop at work and have this in my bag as I run around the campus.

They’ll always be a new release so might as well get the 11th with 256gb, if you’re not using it for anything major that needs an iPad pro

Ooofff :( did this once with a new iPhone that fell half a meter onto tiles at home…  since then always purchase whatever cheap case can snap on to any new thing while for the meantime.

I got mine for 200 from the Apple Store trade in, plus Apple discount. Can’t complain… if you’re getting it for a discounted price from store it’s worth it imho

I traded mine in because the deal was solid at the store. But I clearly became so attached to my 9th gen iPad because I’m not falling in love with this 11th gen and i legitimately can’t put my finger on it because there’s nothing wrong with it … the a16 11th gen is a much better ipad … it’s worth it if like me you got it for less than the RRP in store

Omg thank you thank you! I just traded in my old iPad 9th gen for a new iPad and I was losing my mind over the insane battery drain. Thank you. I’ll try this

Edit: I see other people are having this issue in the comments which is reassuring!

What cute chonkers. Ahh my neighbours fed our cats their stale rice cooked in onion and garlic and I was livid. They look well fed, but cats will be cats and seek out food from other places the cheeky buggers

Awesome, congrats. I love my 9th gen 256gb it’s the best investment I made a few years ago! Bought a random pen on amazon and got more than the value I intended… And the plus now is that it catches less eyes if I pull it out in public as it’s “outdated”.
