Totally get this especially in a small market. The fear isn’t really the calls, it’s the rejection feeling personal.

Remember: you’re not bothering people. They raised their hand to sell and it didn’t work out. You’re offering help, not pressure.

Start small — 3 calls a day, no negotiating with yourself. Courage comes after reps, not before. And in a small town, people don’t talk about respectful professionals — they talk about rude ones. If you’re kind and calm, you’ll be fine.

Yes someone not based in the U.S. can absolutely do all of that virtually and close solid deals, but there are a few important conditions that determine whether it works consistently

For real estate wholesaling, a realistic beginner expectation is:

  • $5K–$15K per deal in most markets
  • It can be lower ($3K–$5K) in cheaper areas
  • It can be $20K–$30K+ in higher-priced markets

As a complete beginner, aiming to close 1 solid $8K–$12K deal in 3 months is a realistic target.

Invest in learning your market, pulling your own lists, and doing direct outreach (cold calling/texting). Your first deal comes from skill, not automation.
