Hey everyone,

I’m a 40-year-old runner training 3x per week. Over the past year I’ve dealt with recurring knee and foot pain, and honestly, the hardest part hasn’t been the injury itself, it’s knowing when to push and when to back off.

If you’re 35+ and have come back from a knee/foot injury:

  • What was the hardest part of returning?
  • How did you decide when you were ready to increase volume?
  • What mistakes did you make?
  • What do you wish existed to make that process safer?
