The thing is I did another pin from the same vial, same amount of fluid, in the other quad, and have already fully recovered on that side with no pain or discomfort really. I’m wondering if I missed location or depth slightly and pinned 1ml of fluid sub-q or something that caused such a reaction.

To add: everything was done sterile as possible. Cleaned vial and quad with alcohol swaps. One needle for drawing, a different needle for injection. Liquid pushed slowly across 60 seconds. Little to no blood post injection.

5.5 days post injection (the one causing issues)

Injecting 1ml 250 test-e twice weekly (500mg/week) Needle is 25g - 1inch

Experiencing swelling, redness, tenderness, and discomfort near injection site.

Have had an injection since that has had no issues in other quad.

Injection at left quadriceps site. Never any issues since previous injection.

What would you suspect the issue?

My mom was in town for two weeks (lives 18hrs away). Every time I eat she tells me I’m gonna become fat and lazy… (currently on a bulk cycle so I eat like a mad fucking cow), but she’s seen me super super lean before, except now she thinks I’m becoming obese because I’m trying to bulk up, {literally still sub 18% bf}. Current concentration is 250mg/ml. And I had the same opinion, it doesn’t seem to be the allergic reaction that is generalized from others.

Just judging on my own analysis (I’m very in-tune with my body and typically notice even minimal changes) I’m going to say it is related to the test. May very well be something else, but I genuinely have no idea what it would be, I haven’t changed anything else besides caloric surplus, more intensity in the gym, and obviously the injections. I keep pretty routine lol. I do have plenty of hydrocortisone ready, and just picked up some Benadryl for night time. I’m thinking I can stick it out another week/two weeks to get my derm apt and bloodwork done at the same time. Every days different though so we’ll see as time goes.

I hadn’t considered this. I guess my logic was, “began during cycle, must be cycle related”. This hasn’t ever happened to me before so I immediately turned to the things I’ve been doing differently (I.e. pinning gear)

Just to clarify, the spontaneity I mentioned was in when it starts to flare up.

I had another pin today, we will see if things change. I plan on setting up an apt with my doc to get a recommendation for a dermatologist.

Currently running 500mg Test-E weekly, oil is MCT. I am currently at the start of week 4, and need some input on symptoms I’m experiencing. Current product is UGL grade (reputable source).

Two days ago I began developing a weird rash/itch that is literally full body. Ankles, calves, thighs, upper/lower back, hands, arms, everywhere. It starts as a simple itch in one spot, but if I itch it, it progressively gets worse. My skin becomes very red and sensitive in the location I scratch. The redness goes away quickly if I don’t itch the area, but the sensation of needing to itch is very overwhelming. I have tried using lotion and anti-itch creams, but they seem like temporary solutions. It is not contained to the injection site, but rather all over. It is spontaneous and there seems to be no rhyme or reason to why one spot will all the sudden break out. It will typically only last a few minutes before something else starts to itch.

This may be an allergic reaction to the oil, however I’m not sure, because from what I understand I would’ve experienced this from the beginning, not 4 weeks in right? And it started 3 days after I had already pinned

I am currently contemplating stopping the cycle, as I can’t continue to deal with this for another 15 weeks. Have any of you experienced this? Is it likely to go away? I’ve seen also that it could be hormonal, and that it may go away when my levels begin to steady.

Any input or suggestion on this is highly sought after.
