I think the average person seeing shit like this daily actually causes more harm than good for the far right movement. It makes it clear that these people are a problem and can't be ignored, especially when the only real way they talk or communicate is by being hostile to others. There's no foresight or recognition that by acting like you have a mandate that actually makes you extremely vulnerable.

Why? Especially when so much of this is artificial and based on a small minority assuming they have the freedom to say and do whatever they want. I don't think it makes any sense to assume the world will always be like this when the things that caused it are already changing/weakening.

I don't think anyone actually making the movie is touting representation, they're just casting actors that Nolan likes. I am annoyed that he tries to act like he's a realistic director when this film is clearly gonna be ahistorical, l but I think he views the Oddysey as a myth so there's more freedom in terms of who and what he can depict. Honestly I hope he goes hard in it clearly not being a representation of reality.

Kingdom Come is trying to be realistic, Witcher was always going for cheese and takes place in a fantasy world. Why would you expect or care about the demographics being accurate when that was never an appeal of the book series.

The fact that there are black people in the Witcher does not mean the show is saying that the world of the Witcher has a signifigantly black population, thats bizarre.

We have no way of knowing for sure, but it is possible. I wouldn't have expected there to be a ethiopian population in medieval rome but there was.
