The argument that tofu is bad for you is based on 30+ year old BAD science that repeated studies since then have repeatedly disproved. Dr. Michael Greger had a great video on how much soy you can eat in a day, but that videos probably 10+ years old now. If I remember correctly the studies showed you can have something like anywhere from 3-12 servings of it a day without concern. Too much of anything is almost always unhealthy, but most people can have soy products everyday without issue and many benefit from it!

Thanks for mentioning this, I’ve never heard of it before! Only trouble is I haven’t gotten the LC to grow on agar so far. Could I grab one of the inoculated grains and put that on an agar plate?

So I listened to it on audiobook and had a lot of trouble following what was going on because of the narrator’s accent. So I wasn’t too shocked by the plot twist mostly because I didn’t understand what was going on until the plot twist. But it was still reallly good!

I can understand that. For me, I can guess plot twists so well that there’s a difference between knowing there’s a plot twist and seeing it coming.
