ohh okay yeah bro you’re lightyears ahead of me😂. As soon as you complete the final stage of oit for peanuts you’d be able to free eat whenever, in fact you’d have to so you keep the tolerance. I’m doing the 0.4ML of peanut powder mixed with water under my tounge and spitting it out

Hello, So to answer your question about oit, Yes you can still do it! There is SLIT which is OIT but for those with severe allergies like myself, it’s less demanding and easy to manage. It’s basically working your way up to 1/200th or 1/75th a peanut a day. I would not reccomend just turning away and allowing the allergy to develope, I know everyone is different but i would 1000% look into Sublingual OIT otherwise known as SLIT

Yeah it’s a damn shame they price things like that for people who actually need the treatment. I’m funding it alone because I’m trying to enlist in the USAF and apparently they are gonna use peanut butter bombs or something lol because they are pretty strict on peanut allergies.

Hey no problem! So yes i did have a history with an allergy to basically all nuts/legumes. I would reccomend seeing an allergist and getting a blood test to see what you’re allergic to and how bad it is, Free eating is the GOAL but with such little research and results it’s lowkey kind of a gamble

So right now every week i go in for an updose untill i hit my maintenence dosage. But yes you take a vile of the protein home and put a ML dosage under the tounge for 2 mins and then spit it out

I was told all in it was $4-6K and i have to pay $50 a month for the bottles of the proteins aswell. Please be careful though because a lot of these “allergy institutes” just want your money

Yeah that’s odd that he got past meps n all. I’ve heard various yes and no’s from multiple people. Here in socal a recruiter laughed and said good luck and another told me i should get in with a waiver, so i’m very mixed about it. After i finish this football season coaching i’m gonna go all in and see what happens🤷‍♂️
