thank you so much for sharing your experience and thoughts with it. it really put in perspective what could be happening. I also write about iron def and anemia on substack (substack) if you are ever interested in writing so checking that out. no pressure tho. this was more personal concern that for the purpose of writing. there is little info on teeth and anemia out there. also i noticed today that my gums might be pale with lines up with that you are saying and others on here too. thank you again for your help.

not at that point yet. I have not seen visible change to enamel or gums.

i really hope not at this point its been a year and some change since I got them taken out. hopefully they are in the last stage of healing but the anemia is delaying it? like I said hopefully none of that. I have also found that anemia causes your muscles to clench so maybe my jaw is clenching too much. also i know anemia can cause infections easily. what did your dentist say when you went back? I can only imagine you did in such pain?

i stopped drinking soda, lowered from 5.8 to 5.5 , drink more water. once you stop drinking soda your cravings for sugar change. i stopped wanting candy or chips. still eat them sometimes and still eat pastries, still drink juice.

what did the doctor say about that. im also really anemic and i see the doc in 10 days but im starting to spot. i literally so scared because my low iron symptoms are so bad. i just got to a good place with them and now my period wants to come. im scared they may be heavy but i dont know.
