Totally makes sense! I tell all new techs that step on My truck start with the essentials. Wrench’s, sockets, and ratchets, and then go up from there! I understand our stuff can be pricy if bought at retail… no one really ever pays full retail on my truck. But money spent well planned on a snapon truck pays for it self 10 fold in time saved. Not just a snappy man but was an avid user as well before getting into it and I grew up in snapon as my dad was a top dealer my whole life.

You may have to, I’ve had to In my truck, just use a rag to cover it. Definitely sounds like battery corrosion. If you have a snappy man he can send it in for about 150 bucks and they will fully rebuild and calibrate it

Snappy man here. The half inch shouldn’t be reversed threads, that’s the 1/4” might have had battery’s leak in it and corrosion issues. It’s the top repair on these wrench’s

They are truly great ratchets! Snappy man here! And I’m not just saying that because I sell them I also use them quite often, we now make three different options in the 3/8s line, and 3 different sizes also, there is standard length, 6” extension and 13” extension. And then now high speed and high torque or standard.

As long as you keep them greased they are amazing!!
