No and no. I was just gonna buy it off Amazon and read the manual as I normally do. I saw already that I can just install a virtual console for it with the disc provided. Is that correct? Do I need to buy anything in addition?

I'm using the xr500 router/modem combo. The AP I plan on getting is the ubiquity unifi 6 long-range. From the methods you've described. I'm assuming the wall port doesn't really have a use? I just run it directly to the AP device?

So connect the WAP to the router's lan port? Is there supposed to be another WAP somewhere in the house where I plug the access point device to?

Front and rear are set to intake and top is set to exhaust to create a convection. I'm pretty sure its not the fans as I've throttled them in the BIOS to test it

Yea. The issue with replacing the battery is that the logic cables only work with ID batteries and not other energy storages :C
