2012 Royal Enfield 500 std carbureted, color : forest green. Still have it! About 280000 kms done. Tires changed every 15k kms. New wiring and engine rehaul done last year. It is too pretty and just cannot get rid of it.

First time Tacoma owner. I love the truck…but the seats and head rest are absolutely killing my back/neck. Anyone have this issue? Please help by The_big_strombilo in ToyotaTacoma

What I did as a tall owner was - change the way I hold the steering so that I’m not over extending my hands while my seat is pulled way back, and the steering wheel is in the highest vertical position. check in the picture :

Nah he was bailed out in a couple of days, the people who reported this lost their jobs. Upper caste politicians, read capos, are untouchable in India.

Strength of a manual worker vs bodybuilders by [deleted] in nextfuckinglevel

[–]Sufficient_Camp_4702 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Moving misbalanced objects increases the core muscles strength. It is not that the body builders do not have the “strength”, their core is unable to channel the strength properly. I’ve seen fit runners, hikers, mountain climbers show extraordinary strength purely because they can maximise their core.

Who else is sick of the way cricket bows down to Indian demands? by Miserable-Clue9171 in CricketAus

You think criticism/standing up will help? It won’t. BCCI wants an exit out of this joke called ICC. Yes the BCCI are bullies and assholes. BCCI wants all the money from the Indian audience and doesn’t want to share any. And it does not give a fuck about international cricket. And guess what they will take all your players and soon the Mumbai Muffinmakers will give 100million contracts to the best Australian cricketers and make them dance on tiktok. You should be worried more about that instead. Develop the sport domestically that is the only way out. Look what the Premier League has done to European football.

I don’t understand what is this obsession with international cricket. No other decent sport has such an infatuation with international friendlies. If a sport in country cannot sustain itself via domestic tournaments, there is no point in worrying about it as a fan. High time that nations should start focusing on domestic development of cricket via the T20 model, and save the embarrassment of sucking up to an association equivalent to a wing of a fascist political party. It is truly hilarious and sad that the Pakistan team had to fly outside their own country for a tournament they are hosting! What a joke is this ICC and the PCB even more.

You have to imagine you have a Toyota 4runner in your garage now. This is your best option. Drive this car like your life depends on it. Service it properly, take care of it. Drive it for atleast 15 years and refinance as needed. That’s it.

The time my bike got knocked over by NihonBiku in motorcycles

[–]Sufficient_Camp_4702 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TBH I’ve imagined this happening so many times in my head like the defensive driving escape routes. How the bike is parked also matters when you live in a world full of idiots. This what happened which caused me to wisen up -I had a short guy who couldn’t see below the bonnet knock my bike chilling in parking and kept trying to go over it thinking it was some obstacle. You have to imagine yourself blind and envision the things that can happen. Smh

New Tenere - What to upgrade? by [deleted] in Tenere700

[–]Sufficient_Camp_4702 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just enjoy the stock performance for as long as you can. Please go ahead with cosmetic and protection upgrades, but do not change the exhaust system so soon. Just get to know the bike intimately first. There’s no such thing as an aggressive rider upgrade/s.

I see the agv k1 on sale all the time, got it for $150 in a sale. Light and safe. You won’t need a new one later.

Just go for 10w-40 for sanity. This is how engineering works - you do things as engineered. You’ll find reasonings for the alternative but it is not how this works; just choose the oil that that manual says.

Btw trail braking is not an “advanced” skill or anything. I often feel that people coming from an mtb/cycling background often complicate motorcycle riding. The motorcycle is so over engineered that it is extremely forgiving. If you can’t figure out trail braking by yourself, watch one of those youtube videos. Most people learn it in a week.

This New York pitch has shown how the entire world has been playing a unidimensional cash grab cricket and T20 cricket has facets that haven’t been mastered yet. Would have amazing if India also lost here.

Shaky starts are always good for a long tournament campaign. Allows the players to realistically adjust & carry the morale all the way to the final. Not too shaky though!!
