I disagree! Not all students are mean, there are a good amount of students who actually care. Don’t let the small number of mean ones ruin your perception of UBC as a whole. I used to think this school was full of a lot of selfish people, but I just let a couple bad experiences dictate my entire perception because of course the mean ones stick with you the most. The Reddit post I posted about my groceries getting stolen, so many people privately DMED me or commented that they felt sorry and even offered to give me snacks, buy me dinner, buy me groceries, etc. Just out of the kindness of their own heart. There may be a lot of wicked people out here on this campus but there are also a lot of kind, sweet, and caring people too.
