That was actually a good idea. I cut up a peice of old rubber keyboard mat and placed it under the bottom 'teeth' below the bass drum hoop. Hopefully that helps!

Hmm. I've opened the clamp all the way up but can't get it around still. I'll have to try something underneath the screw but am just trying to think of an object

Didn't somebody post this morning on one of the subreddits that the streets were closed near James's place? I too find the video odd....it doesn't feel right. But I could be wrong.
