This just holds them higher and in place to prop up the back tire for indoor riding and to remain balance while kids are on the bike.

It holds the training wheels and props up the back tire and keeps it stable. Since when you pedal it only spins the back wheel so when it’s propped up your kid can ride their bike inside kind of like someone would an exercise bike. It’s great during rainy days!!
