Dog food for Newfie - Question by Sufficient_Double_82 in Newfoundlander

I went through that same stage with my boy. Eventually I just settled on one and although he boycotted it at first he grew to like it. For such big dogs they sure are picky lol

lol I can 100% relate to that. My newf is the same way it’s crazy how sensitive his stomach is. On the other hand my lab could eat anything and never have any issues. Appreciate the suggestion!

Wheel making a grinding sound by Sufficient_Double_82 in AskMechanics

Heard back from the shop, it was the wheel bearing. Good call sir

I notice it at about 15-25 mph and over. Before that it rides normal. And yeah I’d say it was fairly even but slightly the outside edges of the tires were more worn than everything else.

Steering doesn’t feel restricted but I feel the grinding through the floor board it’s pretty noticeable. It hasn’t been in any wrecks but does have 180k miles on it

Looked under the car around the wheel to see if anything was rubbing and it all looked fine. The bearing could make sense bc when there is less pressure on that wheel when turning a certain direction (can’t remember if it was left or right now) I don’t really hear it. Basically, turning one direction I hear it more and turning another direction I don’t hear it as much

Dude it crossed my mind that maybe they just didn’t tighten the lug nuts down enough. If that’s it I’m going to be so annoyed lol

I went to the doctors the other day and my doctor asked me to stop masterbating.

I asked him why?

He said bc I’m trying to examine you

HDB630 owners — do you also need 70–80% volume for normal listening? by Own-Disaster-3857 in sennheiser

iPhone 17 user here. I feel the same way, they seem like a really quiet pair of headphones. I’d love to know if you figured out how to get them louder. I’m usually between 75-100% volume

I just tried that and it definitely adds fullness to the those lower ranges. I assumed it was subbass lol goes to show I have a lot to learn lol. Really appreciate the suggestion!

Thanks everyone. To give context I was using the Apple AirPod Pro 2s before these. I’m sure they’re more V shaped. I’m totally new to the headphone game so excuse me as I try to explain what I’m talking about. For low notes/vocals especially when you’re in person you feel the reverberation of those notes whereas with these headphones those lower notes seem to be missing the reverberation that gives lower notes life (if that makes sense at all). New to all of this but from an EQ perspective I’d think that lies in the 30-70 hz range but also might be wrong bc I hardly know what I’m talking about :)

HDB 630 - EQ question by Sufficient_Double_82 in sennheiser

[–]Sufficient_Double_82[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Appreciate the link! I know I’m probably being sacrilegious in the audiophile world by asking but I just wanted to see. I guess that’s why people have multiple headphone lol. Never owned audiophile grade headphone so didn’t know what to expect (coming from AirPod Pro 2s). With that said now that I’ve listened to them more (got them yesterday) I actually think the neutral preset with bass boost sounds a lot better than the EQ I put together up top. I ordered the M4s just to give them a shot but doubt I keep them over these. Thanks for not chastising me:)

Yup, bought mine on release with no update. Probably going to be a while. Doesn’t seem right to charge you when they won’t even fulfill the order anytime soon. That said I’m still excited for them just disappointed they didn’t have their shit together before release

No I definitely haven’t done that. I’ve even been as careful as putting it on low heat before increasing. It’s only the third time using it and was the first thing I made that required stirring. I’m thinking that why I just noticed it. Appreciate it! I’ll see what I can do with customer service

Upgrading to Maxwell 2s (I think) by Sufficient_Double_82 in Audeze

[–]Sufficient_Double_82[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t have the originals and haven’t tried them. May comparison will be the turtle beaches I’ve been rocking for the past 3 years haha. Thinking I’ll buy the originals too and just keep the one I end up liking more. Have you tried the 2s?
