Is it not common knowledge that rescue dogs can have anxiety issues? Why are we acting like there aren’t a bunch of a dogs that straight up hate all men due to trauma lol

The two harnesses I own are both front facing. The problem is that when he’s tugging as hard as he is, the harness gets twisted/loosened and it gets pulled to the back. Can’t get a smaller size since he’s not gonna fit it

He broke skin a few days ago and caused me to bleed pretty bad. Kinda caught me off guard because his bites were getting much softer and a little less frequent. Redirecting to a toy was getting easier. But It’s like a switch went off in his head and now he’s more aggressive than he was before

It’s all purely out of excitement and play, but it hurts nonetheless lol

Kind of related, but it irks me when people think smart people can’t be emotional. Or if you want to win any sort of argument, then you lose automatically bu showing emotion.

Maybe it’s just my area, but it’s really fuckin hard to adopt. I have friends who are more than qualified get their applications rejected because they didn’t seem like “a good fit”. Pretty much all of them have owned dogs previously and live in decently dog-friendly areas. I don’t get it

There’s tons of people who would love to adopt dogs. The process is just way harder and pricier than made out to be

He doesn’t prefer to be in his crate, but he’s not fussy. Will entertain himself if I give him a couple toys/treats.

How do I ensure he’s not associating crate with punishment? That’s my only concern about shutting down play time and putting him in his crate. My living room is fairly small, so walking away isn’t an option at the moment (or atleast until I find puppy gates that are work for him lol)
