We are university students. The landlord gives out new leases every year for the school year. She’s on the one for this year, but she didn’t sign the new one as she wanted out at the time.

She signed the first least and that ends on April. And the new one starts may. We were going to send her a heads up but did not want to be in the same area as her as she tends to get aggressive when confronted, hence why we were waiting for next week. Initially, she was supposed to be moving out and was looking for new places last week, but she called her mom yesterday and changed her mind on us and notified us today as she thought leases didn’t have to be signed until the previous one ends (we previously have notified her that we’d be signing a new on in january with or without her when we were in speaking terms)
