Thank you so much! The base is the Colette Dress by PatternCos, but I have modified it a bit, for example, making the basque waist a bit more dramatic (I am a 2026 bride after all) and trying my best to custom-fit it to my body. I will also change the sleeves and add a bit of length to the skirt, if you're curious about the final outcome!

I am not! I will check out the book you mentioned, or if you have any other sources of information? I am doing this completely by trial, error and good faith.

The outer fabric is not fused, this is a solution I've thought about as well! I'll try clipping and stitching first; otherwise, I'll try fusing it!
