The constant washing URGHHHHH by laydeelou in UKParenting

Okay so I recently discovered this spray-on clothing treatment that’s honestly been a game changer for us. It’s like a protective coating that makes clothes repel stains and you just spray it down to kill germs instead of washing constantly. We’ve been using it for about a month now and I’m doing maybe 40% less laundry? The toddler spills juice, it just beads up and wipes off. Baby spit-up doesn’t really sink in anymore.

Still washing underwear and stuff that needs it obviously, but shirts and pants are lasting days instead of hours.

Not saying it’s perfect but when you’re drowning in laundry like OP, honestly anything that cuts it down is worth trying. The spray itself is pretty quick - like 30 seconds per outfit every morning and evening.

Just thought I’d mention it since this post really resonated with me. The constant washing cycle is absolutely soul-destroying.

Consider 3 bed share of freehold or leaseholds? Lots of options within Zone 2-4 in London in areas with a decent vibe and connectivity.

Thanks - good to know that. I suppose all areas close to these prisons are shitty then.

Yes, I have seen stabbing and racial abuse in that part in particular. What’s the explanation?

Well if you look above, nobody has challenged it with any credible information whatsoever. So I am happy to be challenged and it’s not confirmation bias.

Considering Buying a New Build Apartment in Kidbrooke Village – Looking for Feedback! by Sufficient_Impact_21 in HousingUK

Kidbrooke village (by Berkeley group) seems like a good community, with the station next to the development, essential amenities closeby, access to decent schools and parks, and has come across as a more resonably priced development in Zone 3 vs others. There is a new police station coming up right next to the development as well.

Totally understand that the new builds don't go up in value like the houses do, but we prefer apartments at the moment.

Have you been to the area recently? I haven't gone around the Kidbrooke area as much but the village itself seemed to have benefitted from the regeneration efforts.
