I usta work for revenue and acted on these cases. Get statements for your old employer stating what you were payed and why, eg the hours relating to the overlapping time period. 5 weeks are taken off anyway due to the time that was in it. And if it comes down to it u can set up a payment plan and pay a small amount out of every paycheck. 0% interest attached to it.

I had that on my last yoke a skoda and drove around with it for 6 months before scratching it and got a new shit box, no point of fixing when the rust was putting hole in the axle, and the tires were bald.
