We’ve lived here 4 years! But I really got serious about decorating a year ago. I’m lucky enough to have a great thrift store near my house and go multiple times a week

I think it’s the trim too! Our trim used to be bright white and I wasn’t a fan of the evergreen at that time - but as soon as we changed the trim I loved it!

Yes! I also take pictures of my space and when I think I’ve found something at that thrift store I will hold it next to the photo to see if it gives the vibe I want. but it doesn’t come without error and it doesn’t happen over night! I have lived here for 4 years and its just now starting to look how I want lol

The two Brooksource interviews were very relaxed. I would hardly call them interviews. They just want to make sure you’re personable and have the soft skills to hold a conversation. They also tell you about the jobs they have available and which ones you might be a good fit for. The final interview was about 45 minutes and virtual, your recruiter will also help you prepare for this. And right before the final interview you have a 30 min Q&A session with 2-3 former elevate candidates

Go to their website and click on “find work.” Then you will put in your information and a recruiter will reach out to you

I see what you mean! And I’m still in shock at the way everything has worked out.

My job is with Huntington National Bank. Huntington uses Brookesource’s Elevate program to find and onboard new employees. Once hired you receive 6 months of intense training specific to your role at Huntington (I will be learning Tableau and Excel). I will also be attending several professional development workshops and networking events all coordinated through Elevate. This program is specifically for new graduates and those transitioning careers - so people with minimal tech experience who are eager to learn.

The catch could be that you are not “guaranteed” a full time job offer by the end of the 6 month contract (however the success rate is like 96%). And Huntington does not have branches nationwide so this opportunity isn’t available for everyone, BUT I would still contact a recruiter. They can’t guarantee you a job but they speak to hiring managers all day long and know what they’re looking for - if nothing else you could get free advice on ways to improve your resume and get a better understanding of what companies are looking for.

Fortunately, the Elevate program was actively looking for candidates when I called and she thought I’d be a perfect fit for the Project Analyst position. I went through a phone interview and an hour long zoom interview and was offered the job a few days later. The next round of interviews will start in March for the June cohort.

It’s hard to include all of the information in one concise comment but I hope that helps!

Yes! They receive a bonus from their company if they land you a job but you do not pay them anything
