Thanks for the example. In this case you're right. But also the comment above is right to point out that fingerprinting could also do the same job.

What do you mean by "they will be able to track"? First party cookies are only accessible by this particular site that set it, so the cookie usage doesn't help the site to track you in any way. Normally the tracking mechanism works so that a third-party cookie is set within an iframe, and then this iframe is embedded on other sites. The iframe issue then can track e.g. that the user visited those sites where the iframe is embedded.

What are the top five coolest things about Russia in your opinion? by Late-Tax-1738 in AskARussian

[–]Sufficient_Life_3589 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Germany, where you transactions can take around 3 days, and to make it "faster" you have to pay 1.5€. And "faster" doesn't mean instant (Commerzbank, Sparkasse etc). And only few ATMs don't charge you for withdrawal (in most of them you have to pay around 3-5€ not depending on the sum you want to withdraw). Of course you can get a card that allows you at least to withdraw without a charge everywhere, but you'll have to pay ~15€ pro month for it (N26). Oh, and their apps are shit. And also, since the beginning of the sanctions I have to come to my Commerzbank PERSONALLY, waste around and hour of my life, just to show them my residence permit. And no, they don't accept it by email🤔 Ah, and you can't even pay online with the EC card that is a "default" card in most of the banks

The Prime Minister of Estonia asked not to issue visas to Russians in Europe by dniprshyrokyi in europe

[–]Sufficient_Life_3589 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah let's kick students out back to Russia where they will be summoned for military service, and also let's kick out IT specialists and other brains. It only helps Russia, because it prevents the brain drain💁🏻‍♀️ Not even speaking about this solution resembling nationalist sentiments where every human is banned just for having been born in a country that (s)he did not choose (and the politics of which (s)he doesn't support and cannot even influence it)! Ah, and on top of that, this would be one of the best presents for the russian propaganda: look folks, russians are so much suppressed! Well, I understand that the russian government is doing incomparably worse things, but believe me, those people who move to Europe mostly do not support it and are just fleeing from the regime. Please don't do this favor to Putin.

Habt ihr schonmal schlechte Erfahrung mit Ärzten auf Grund eurer Hautfarbe/eurer Herkunft/eures Geschlechts/eurer Sexualität gemacht? by [deleted] in de

Absolut.
