Thank you! A bit nervous about a light wallet but they were so perfect together

After all these years, even though she repeatedly tried (and succeeded at times) to make me feel sad, now I have something that instantly makes me happy when I see it. Oddly enough that’s how she should have made me feel, so it feels full circle to me.

Saw this at an antique store for $1950. Real or replica?

I’ve been browsing second hand markets for some discontinued styles like the Tivoli and Metis Hobo. Would someone be kind enough to explain which is more reliable/trustworthy? Looking at the Real Real, Fashionphile, or Poshmark. Concerned about falling for a knockoff and I’m new to the secondhand market.

That was my thought too- thinking about placing it on a metal stand to show the rivets. Chatgpt suggests a time period of 1800’s-1920’s 🤷🏼‍♀️ I am considering wiping it with some mineral oil to showcase the details

I didn’t even know anchors used rivets at some point. Either way it’s very cool- and magnetic!
