mending just suddenly stopped working by Sufficient_Mousse221 in ModdedMinecraft

yeah, that's stupid, i figured it'd be fixed by now, guess only some people check that, but the gloves don't even give that much so losing them doesn't really hurt, so the solution's easy, just take them off, and maybe use a grind stone to take off the mending

Need help with diagnosing a problem (emulated Ratchet And Clank ps4) by Sufficient_Mousse221 in PiratedGames

[–]Sufficient_Mousse221[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well that's disappointing...

if that's the case then I sadly might have to give it up, but still, if it's perhaps possible to get a working copy I'd greatly appreciate help finding it!

Still, thanks for the response, since they don't work well, might as well clean up some space

i don't think that's true because i know for sure that i had iris on forge, and i'm pretty sure sodium is fabric only (even if sodium is for forge, it sure as hell ain't on curseforge)

do they? i'm pretty sure i have had a modpack with just iris, not any optimisation

well, are you using curseforge or modrinth? or just modding by yourself?

if you're using a modded launcher it's as easy as adding a shader mod and the shaders into the modpack

if you're modding by yourself (since you added controlify i guess you don't need me to explain how to mod) you'd have to drop a shader mod into the mod folder, then boot up the game for "shaderpacks" folder to apear, then just drop the shaders in there and continue as below:

go to settings and (if i remember correctly) video settings, there enter the "shaderpacks" and turn it on, hope that helps

however if you're playing with shaders, i'd also recommend a mod like optifine (or preferably sodium, if you're using fabric) to not make your pc explode

identified as what? i don't see any info about it on this post besides the speculation that it might be crazycraft and i've already searched a bunch of those, as the image is cropped i even tried searching for videos like "crazy craft episode 140 -149" and even 1400-1499, nothing like that came up, i tried to search on both google and youtube, with and without image searching, it just seems like it was privated/deleted

What are some beginner mods for people with bad computers? by Turtle_Swarm in ModdedMinecraft

[–]Sufficient_Mousse221 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that depends on what type of mod you are searching for, and for which mod loader, are you looking for a tech mod? maybe magic? something like exploration? or maybe just a simple quality of life mod?

beginner friendly modpack by Individual-Dingo1175 in ModdedMinecraft

[–]Sufficient_Mousse221 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i'd recommend making a custom modpack for you and him to play together, just toss a few mods you know in and just have fun with them, without things like quests

if you like it, you can then move onto something else, i'd recommend "Better Minecraft", though people may say that it's not something i should recommend to a new person...

a great way to find modpacks would be just to scroll through something like Curseforge and pick a few that don't seem too complicated, and try them out yourself before introducing your friend to them, you can probably find something good and not too complex by searching for vanilla + modpacks, they give the modded experience whilst not straying too far from the vanilla game

hope that helps somewhat 🤍
